Budgetary healthcare institution of Omsk region "Maternity home № 2"
Maternity hospital No. 2 is a narrow-profile budgetary health care institution in the Omsk Region. It was founded in 1963.
The work of the maternity hospital is based on the provisions of the Federal Law "On the Fundamentals of Health Care of Citizens in the Russian Federation" of November 21, 2011 N 323-FZ.
The maternity hospital is equipped with modern medical equipment and equipment, is provided with the necessary medicines and is staffed with qualified personnel - more than 80% of doctors and 70% of average medical personnel have the highest and the first qualification category. All this allows us to provide highly qualified medical care to pregnant women, parturient women, mothers and newborn children.
The maternity hospital performs the following functions:
- provision of obstetric and gynecological care for women during pregnancy, childbirth, in the postpartum period, medical care for newborns, as well as for women with reproductive system diseases under stationary conditions;
- introduction of modern perinatal family-oriented technologies (demedicalization of childbirth, partner birth, joint mother and child stay, early attachment to the breast, priority of breastfeeding, prevention of hypothermia of newborns);
- prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the reproductive system;
- medical care in connection with the artificial termination of pregnancy;
- health education for women on breastfeeding, prevention of reproductive system diseases, abortion and sexually transmitted infections;
- establishing medical indications and sending women and newborns to medical organizations to provide them with specialized, including high-tech, medical care;
- Examination of temporary incapacity for work, issuance of sheets of incapacity for work for women in pregnancy and childbirth;
- participation in the direction of women with signs of persistent disability for medical and social expertise;
- organization and provision of sanitary and hygienic and anti-epidemic regimes in order to prevent and reduce the incidence of nosocomial infections of women, newborns and health workers;
- conducting a clinical and expert assessment of the quality of medical care for women and newborns;
- analysis of the causes of gynecological diseases, obstetric and extragenital complications in women, incidence of newborns;
- implementation of statistical monitoring and analysis of the causes of maternal and perinatal mortality;
- provision of vaccine prophylaxis to newborns, neonatal and audiological screening;
- the organization of nutrition for women and newborns during their stay in the maternity hospital;
- interaction with the women's consultation, which is not part of it, the emergency medical station, the polyclinic, the children's polyclinic, as well as with other medical organizations (anti-tuberculosis, skin-venereology, oncology dispensaries, AIDS prevention and control centers);
- ensuring the provision of antiretroviral prophylaxis for perinatal transmission of HIV infection to HIV-infected mothers and their newborns;
- organization of professional development of doctors and medical workers with secondary medical education;
- the maintenance of accounting and reporting documentation, the provision of reports on activities in accordance with the established procedure, the collection of data for registers, the conduct of which is provided by law.
In 2007, the maternity hospital received an honorary international title "Hospital of a benevolent attitude to mother and child". This work was promoted by works aimed at the development of modern technologies of obstetrics, breastfeeding, births based on the participation of the family, joint stay in the ward of the mother and child. In the long term, according to WHO recommendations on the support of gentle and careful management of labor, taking into account indications and contraindications, the use of alternative to traditional delivery - "vertical childbirth". It provides for the free conduct of a woman in labor (the possibility of taking a shower, a comfortable position in childbirth, etc.), which contributes to a more physiological and less traumatic (especially for the fetus) conduct of the second stage of labor. In addition, much attention is paid to anesthesia in childbirth and anesthesia in surgical interventions; modern safe methods of anesthesia are widely used.
