The centralized laboratory of the diagnostic center was equipped with modern equipment
The laboratory has launched a unique automatic sorting system for the "AutoMate 2500 Beckman Coulter" test tubes, which operates in accordance with the electronic registration task. Immediately after delivery to the laboratory, the tripods with test tubes are moved to the station, which identifies the tubes by bar code. This confirms the delivery of the test tube to the laboratory. The highly intelligent system automatically reads the barcode, removes the covers, and places the tubes on separate tripods for various analyzers. The sorting speed is 1200 tubes per hour. Also, the system monitors the execution of tests and forms tripods with test tubes indicating the storage location. If necessary, a tube with a certain barcode is quickly taken from the refrigerating chamber and subjected to additional research. This system replaced the laborious process of sorting the tubes. In the end, this accelerated the performance of analyzes.
Also in the centralized laboratory, the first automated analyzer for clinical electrophoresis "INTERLAB G26" was installed in the Omsk region. To work on the analyzer, staff training was conducted, new methods of in-depth study of blood serum for protein fraction-immunofixation were mastered, and the introduction of urine test methods was being continued. The analyzer makes it possible to economically perform a full cycle of screening and diagnosis of myeloma, immunodeficiencies, autoimmune diseases, emphysema of the lungs and other diseases, as well as to monitor the effectiveness of treatment and reduce the cost of expensive treatment.
The "VITROS 3600" immunochemical system was launched - a new generation analyzer based on enzymatically enhanced chemiluminescence. This ensures the accuracy of the studies and the reliability of the results. This analyzer carries out a study of blood samples for the presence of markers of viral hepatitis B and C. Data is unloaded into the laboratory information system automatically, which eliminates the error of the result of the analysis. The commissioning of the system allowed to increase the capacity and significantly reduce the time of the research on the Australian antigen and antibodies to the hepatitis C virus.
Note that the centralized laboratory located on the basis of the Clinical Diagnostic Center (the laboratory operates as a centralized laboratory since 2014) is in fact the only high-tech laboratory complex in the region equipped with unique equipment created in the public sector of medical services on the basis of informatization and automation of the main processes. To date, the Clinical Diagnostic Center conducts free of charge (due to compulsory medical insurance) 274 studies, including 178 types of research performed centrally for 90 state medical institutions in Omsk and Omsk region.
According to experts, the advantages of the new centralized research system were especially appreciated in rural areas. Now the villagers do not need to go to the city to donate blood for various studies (biochemical studies, hormones, oncomarkers, infections) and get the exact result of the study. In all central rayon hospitals, blood is collected and then delivered to a centralized laboratory. Information exchange is carried out through the information system with obtaining the result in electronic form.
