Omsk doctors became nominees of the national prize "Vocation"

In Omsk, on the basis of the regional children's clinical hospital, since 2002, the center of pathology of the reproductive organs and pelvic surgery operates. This is the first department in Russia, created in accordance with the concept of Professor Nikolayev, about providing assistance to children with combined disorders of the pelvic organs in one medical institution. As experts note, one of the main problems in the development of surgical care for children with impaired pelvic organs is the enormous complexity of training surgeons who own three specialties at once. In the Omsk center of five doctors, four have certificates in three specialties. This allows for an integrated approach in the treatment of this complex group of patients. Specialists also have extensive experience in clinical and scientific work, regularly participate in Russian and international medical symposia, congresses and medical conferences. Based on the materials of the Center's work, one doctoral and two Ph.D. theses are protected. Currently, 3 more Ph.D. theses are being carried out. Employees of the Center received 7 patents of the Russian Federation for inventions.
Annually more than 700 children from the Omsk region and about 30 from neighboring regions (Tyumen, Novosibirsk, Chelyabinsk, Barnaul, Kemerovo) and the Republic of Kazakhstan are treated at the Center. The range of medical treatment for children with impaired pelvic organs is represented by all the most modern methods of treatment, both surgical and conservative.
On the basis of the Center there is a laboratory of urodynamic and colodynamic studies, equipped with Delphis and Duet Logic functional complexes of expert class, urofluometer, electromyograph and rheograph, which allow to diagnose neurogenic dysfunctions of bladder and Kolodiskines at the modern level. Annually more than 3500 children go through functional diagnostics here.
Award for the best doctors of Russia "Vocation" is the main medical award of the country. Over ten years, more than 300 doctors from all regions of the country became laureates, who made a real breakthrough in the creation of new methods of treatment and diagnostics, made bright scientific discoveries and made a huge contribution to the development of world medical science.
