The Center for Pediatric Arrhythmology began work at the Clinical Cardiology Clinical Hospital
The center has been functioning since the beginning of 2015. During this time, part of the premises were repaired, modern equipment was purchased in particular for the maintenance of pacemakers. For these purposes, more than 8 million rubles have been allocated from the regional and federal budgets. Currently, the repair work continues.
According to O.Yu. Korennova, deputy chief physician for the out-patient department of the work of the "Clinical cardiological clinic", was carried out serious preparatory work. First, the order of admission of patients, including children, has changed. Secondly, there was no division into "city" and "region" - all the inhabitants of the region have an equal opportunity to get help in the cardio-dispensary. Thirdly, for the pediatricians of medical and polyclinic institutions, an Internet record is open, thanks to which they can send to the specialists of the dispensary any of their patients. Currently, up to 50% of all records for consultative reception are made in electronic form.
For today in the Omsk region 226 children with serious infringements of a warm rhythm and 31 children with which the pacemaker is installed are registered. "At present, pacemakers are installed in federal centers in Moscow, Novosibirsk and Tomsk. But in the future there is a need for their maintenance and correction. Until recently, there was no such opportunity in our region. Today she appeared. I think that soon enough we will be able to install pacemakers ourselves. Experts are already trained and appropriate equipment is being purchased. Therefore, the organization of a separately allocated for children arrhythmology center is very relevant, "explained O.N. Bogdanova, Deputy Minister of Health of the region.
As specialists note, the organization of the Children's Arrhythmology Center on the basis of the Clinical Cardiological Dispensary will expand the possibilities of providing medical care to the majority of patients on an outpatient basis. The Center will allow in the short term to carry out organizational and methodological work in the region, to work out the routing of patients, and in the long run it is more effective to use financial resources for diagnostics and treatment of cardiovascular pathology in children, to reduce the disability and mortality of the child population.
