In BSMP №2 have installed modern X-ray equipment

At the City Clinical Hospital of Emergency Medical Service No. 2, a modern digital mobile X-ray surgical unit with a C-shaped frame and an image intensifier, several monitors, a system for recording and monitoring patients was purchased. The equipment is installed in the operating unit of the institution and is already actively used by specialists for conducting surgical interventions. This device is intended for fluoroscopy and radiography for any surgical interventions in traumatology, orthopedics, urology, surgery, etc.

the equipment allows to shorten the duration of the operation, significantly reduce the radiation burden on the patient and the medical staff. After performing the X-ray image immediately appears on the monitor. The duration of one shot, together with the installation of the C-arm in the corresponding projection, takes no more than 1 minute. The patient's stay in the hospital is shortened after surgical intervention.

"In general, this allows us to conduct either existing operations at a higher level with better results or introduce new ones. In recent years, many new, so-called minimally invasive operations have been introduced, that is, operations through small sections. With the help of these settings, we perform operations that were unthinkable ten years ago, "A.A. Kalinichenko, deputy chief doctor for surgical care at the non-governmental organization GKBSMP number 2.

He noted that this is the second such facility in the institution, the need for its acquisition is due to the significant growth of minimally invasive and endoscopic operations in various pathologies.
