The Clinical Diagnostic Center received new equipment

A new magnetic resonance tomograph of the expert class Toshiba Excelart was launched into the department of X-ray methods of research at the Clinical Diagnostic Center. Already today the apparatus is conducted on average up to 20 studies per day. Experts say that this equipment will reduce the waiting time for research, and thus increase the availability of medical care for residents of the region.

The tomograph is equipped with a compact superconducting magnet and gradient noise reduction technology, which provides the most comfortable conditions for research and the almost complete absence of claustrophobia. The hydraulic drive provides a smooth vertical movement of the upper section of the table. The device allows to carry out research of patients with weight up to 205 kg.

In addition, the latest Atlas development improves the quality of the image and reduces the time of research, allowing you to explore large anatomical areas with high resolution.

"According to the results of the examination, the patient receives a computer disk with pictures of organs and tissues and the conclusion of a specialist. Information from the disk, if necessary, can be sent by e-mail to Russian and foreign clinics. This makes it possible to receive consultations of leading medical specialists without leaving Omsk "- explained Natalia Krupko, head of the department of X-ray methods of research at the Clinical Diagnostic Center.

In addition, recently in the department of functional research methods, a new ultrasound scanner of the Philips premium class has been installed. The device is designed specifically for the study of heart vessels, includes advanced visualization of vessels and the most modern means of echocardiography. The system is based on innovative technologies and is able to cope with the most complex tasks, such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, pathology of valves, vessels, etc.

Unique matrix sensors for carrying out three-dimensional echocardiography allow you to see what previously could not be visualized.
